About Burgess Hill Burgess Hill is a town in West Sussex, England
nestling in the Weald just to the north of the South Downs. From a rural beginning the town has rapidly
expanded over the years and is now home to 29,000 people who commute into London, Brighton, Crawley and
Gatwick or work in the town's hi-tech industries.
The town was originally built on a Roman Road between the South Coast and London and later on the main London to Brighton railway and is just off the A23
main road and just over 20 miles south of Gatwick Airport. Burgess Hill is also only a couple of miles away
from the internationally renowned show jumping arena at Hickstead.
